The most important aspect of Thorntask Limited's work is ensuring the health and safety of all those affected by its activities. Thorntask Limited recognises that the effective management of health and safety is an integral part of our business, and that the co-operation and partnership of staff at all levels is vital in achieving the health and safety achievements for which we strive.
We have devised a Safety Management System based on the principles of BS8800 accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007, which aims to minimise risks by establishing delegated safety responsibilities throughout the organization from the Managing Director through the management team to the employees. These responsibilities are supported by a system of standards and procedures, which are all designed to create a dynamic Safety Management System capable of controlling residual risks to the lowest possible level.
