As part of the re-branding works of the London Overground Network Thorntask were contracted to carry out the installation of station signage across numerous stations on the London Overground Network including; Dalston Junction, Rotherhithe, Wapping, Surrey Quays, Hoxton, Haggerston, Whitechapel, Shadwell and Shoreditch. Works included the installation of;
- Station Entrance Roundel Signs
- Supergraphics
- Suspended Signage
- Line Diagrams
- Door Signage
- Directional and Warning Signage
Works were carried out during both Engineering and Traffic hours, with Thorntask responsible for the provision of
access equipment including Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) and mobile scaffold towers.
Thorntask also undertook the electrical works associated with the illuminated signage including; local isolation, connection of power supplies and cable management
